Philadelphia 76ers star Joel Embiid was assessed a postgame technical foul a day after waving a towel on the bench during a free-throw attempt from Indiana Pacers guard Andrew Nembhard, the league announced Monday.
Embiid, who has yet to make his season debut, committed the act during overtime of Sunday’s contest. Nembhard split his attempts from the line.
